Jack Poulson

Jack Poulson was formerly a Research Scientist at Google, an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Stanford University, and the lead developer of the distributed-memory math library Elemental.

His technical focuses range from high-performance scientific computing and statistics to pure mathematics.

He is also the founder of Tech Inquiry, a non-profit researching the interface between tech, defense, and public policy. He is a Texan currently residing in Toronto, Ontario with his neuroscientist wife, Sandra. Please feel free to reach out via jack@hodgestar.com.
